Template Libraries for Clinicians
Clinicians create 70–150 targets per patient from scratch. Designed a pre-filled library of target templates — letting them add, customize, and share in minutes instead of hours.
Problem
Clinicians must create 70–150 targets for every new patient — some standard, others personalized — all from scratch, making the process time-consuming and prone to errors.
Solution
Released a library of default pre-filled target templates based on industry standards, with options to create private or company-shared templates based on user access-level.
Impact
A highly-requested feature for building, saving, and reusing target libraries — even from existing treatments. It turns hours of writing 70–150 targets per patient into minutes, cutting repetitive planning by an estimated 70–80%.
How it works
Clinician selects the specific client, navigates to the Treatment module, clicks “Add from Library” and selects necessary targets they want to add - done!
Design Process
1/ Research & understanding of user needs
I started from the competitors research and surveying our user to clearly understand what their needs are, how complicated/simplified functionality they require for the comfortable workflow.
2/ Concept brainstorming
There were lots of iterations while we were looking for the best solution. Starting from drawers, switching to modals and coming back to the drawer solution at the end.
3/ Design
Once aligned on the required functionality, access level logic, possible actions, edge cases, warning and errors, I designed necessary flows using Tilly design library (and expanding it with some new components).
